Ans: Booking a free 30-minute introduction is a great way for students and tutors to get to know each other. It's a chance to go through what you would like to cover in your lessons and discuss availability.

Ans: This has to be checked and approved by your tutor before it goes ahead. On the day of the introduction, you are able to join the Tutorrays online whiteboard via a link sent to your email inbox 5 minutes before the session starts or by logging on to Tutorrays, clicking the 'Upcoming bookings' and joining from the introduction slot here. We highly recommend using a laptop/desktop and Google Chrome or another fully up-to-date browser.

You can either 'Get in Touch' to start a conversation, 'Book a Free Intro' to provisionally book a time to have a free 30-minute introduction, or go straight to 'Book a Lesson' with them to book a paid lesson.

Ans: To book a lesson, you can do from the tutor profile or the messages page, just use the 'Book a Lesson' button to browse a tutor's available slots and create a booking request for either a flexible or a regular lesson.
Flexible lesson - Choose individual or a multi-lesson block of one-off sessions for specific dates and times. Blocks only need to be confirmed once per block. Regular lesson - Choose weekly, twice a week or fortnightly sessions on a regular basis. Once confirmed by both sides these will renew indefinitely until one side cancels all sessions..
Once you've sent a booking request, it'll be up to your tutor to accept it so it will stay on your pending bookings page until then. You can always drop them a message to remind them! If your tutor has sent you a booking request it will also be in your pending bookings where you will need accept it. When a booking is confirmed, it will move to your upcoming bookings.

Ans: You have to make your payment before the lesson. If not you the Join Meeting button will be disabled. Go to the Upcoming Bookings menu and find your lesson booking slot. You can make a payment by clicking the Make a Payment button. Please be informed that without making the payment you can’t attend the online lesson. If the tutor is unavailable or the lesson has been cancelled then you can rebook it for free of charge. 3. Note down your AnyDesk ID:

  • When AnyDesk launches, you will see a window displaying your AnyDesk address.
  • Your AnyDesk address consists of a series of digits. Note it down as you will need to share it with the person you want to grant remote access.

4. Share Your AnyDesk ID:

  • Communicate your AnyDesk ID (the series of digits) to the person you want to allow remote access to your computer.
  • You can share it through email, chat, phone call, or any other appropriate method.

5. Grant Remote Access:

  • Once they have your AnyDesk ID, enter it into the "Remote Desk" section of their AnyDesk window.
  • Click on the green "Connect" button.

6. Confirm Remote Access:

  • A dialog box will appear on your screen, asking you to confirm the remote access request.
  • Verify that the AnyDesk ID displayed in the dialog box matches the ID provided by the person you want to grant access to.
  • Click on the "Accept" button to allow remote access to your computer.

7. Control and Collaboration:

  • After accepting the remote access request, the person on the other end will gain control of your computer.
  • They can now view your screen, control your mouse and keyboard, and collaborate with you remotely.
